WRE Apartment tower uses Fiberglass sliders
DUXTON has been contracted to replace almost 200
Fiberglass sliders in a 14 storey
apartment block in Winnipeg. This is the
second window replacement for this owner of
a substantial number of blocks/rental units. The
first project, completed more than a year ago,
resulted in a numerous positive comments from
tenants as well as building managers)
The sliders provide
superior seal (B7 rating)
and comments from the block
manager already speak to
reduced air infiltration and
much quieter / less street
and windows.

approach. The PVC sill
expander allows
for effective
foam
seal/insulation
of the slope
sill.
Insulating glass units Cardinal 171 low e /Argon c/w Stainless steel warm edge glass. This combination will provide excellent performance including significantly reduced cooling problems in the summer due to the LOW shading coefficient.
